Project Overview:

Al Dente Cycling is an independent brand that operates as both a custom apparel company and a competitive racing team. Built to bring bold, unexpected energy to the cycling world, Al Dente makes its mark through what we wear and how we race.

I led the development of the brand from the ground up, including the visual identity, kit design, and digital presence. The kits are more than just a visual statement. I work closely with production partners to craft apparel that performs at a high level, designed not only to look and feel good, but to move fast and function reliably. Every detail, from fit and fabric to graphics and trim, is considered with both performance and personality in mind.

As a racing team, Al Dente serves as a real-world testing ground for the apparel. Every kit is wear-tested by the team and refined through racing, training, and daily use. The design process balances comfort and technical performance to meet the needs of both competitive racers and casual riders. Our presence at events throughout the Midwest reinforces the brand's identity and proves that design built for performance can still be expressive and fun.
